Let’s be real, love is 10 steps past amazing.

It’s one of the most incredible and spectacular things that can happen in our lives, and, if anything is worth documenting, real, authentic, happy love is most definitely it!

Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, a milestone, or a memory - couple shoots are a great way to freeze that moment and capture it in time.

The aim of my game is always to catch not just how you look, but to catch how you feel.

It’s about capturing those happy moments, those sappy moments, those laughing-hysterically-at-each-other moments, and every single moment in between.

It’s why I love shooting real couples so, so much. They’re real, they’re authentic, they’re great.

Couple shoots are a great way for me to help you capture a moment, milestone, or memory, and they’re also a great way to have a heck of a lot of fun. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, pregnancy, or engagement, let me help you capture some of your happiest memories in a way that feels totally and completely you!

WANT TO KNOW MORE - HERE ARE SOME FAQ’s

Q. HOW LONG IS EACH SHOOT

A. Typically, each session is between 1 – 1.5 hours. Don’t worry though, it’s not as if I’m counting down the minutes (like at all). Truth be told, I LOVE engagement shoots and often end up hanging out long after we’ve gotten all the shots. Believe it or not, we typically nail a solid number of “perfect shots” within the first half hour, so the actual shoot is only really ever as long as you want it to be.

Q. IS THERE A BETTER DAY OR TIME TO SCHEDULE OUR SHOOT?

A. In terms of day of the week, nope, not really - it really just depends on where you want to shoot, as sometimes you want to keep in mind foot traffic in whatever part of town we’re in.

When it comes to timing though, there is one little trick I like to go with, and that’s sticking to “The Golden Hour”. Since great lighting is the ultimate key to any good photo, I almost always try to schedule all my engagement shoots right in the middle of that magic golden hour, that little bit of time just before sunset where light starts fading and colours start glowing.

I love this time because it allows you to get a bunch of shots with a whole slew of different lighting, meaning it kinda looks like you had a whole bunch of different shoots and allows you to have the chance to have a variety of different looks.

There’s also the double bonus that by shooting later in the day we also manage to avoid any harsh sunlight. So you get the nice and bright shots, the golden light shots, the sunset shots, and, maybe even some creative night shots, all in the span of an hour!

Q. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SHOOT?

A. When it comes to booking any shoot, the rule tends to typically be: the more in advance, the better. That being said, I am definitely pretty flexible and know that sometimes great things (like engagements or anniversaries) just totally creep up out of no where. That’s why I try to be as easy going and accommodating with my shoots as possible.

Wanna plan super far ahead and lock it in? No problem! We can plan up to a year ahead of your upcoming milestone. Wanna try for a month or two out? Easy peasy! Thinking of some time next week? Might be tricky, but hey, if I can make it work I totally will!

Most of the time I try to encourage people to schedule at least 2-3 months before they actually want their shoot to be, just to ensure they get the day/time they want, and so that they have some time to organize, plan and prepare, but honestly, it’s your shoot, so it’s really up to you!

Just know, that I do tend to book up pretty quickly so the sooner you can let me know the better.

Q. WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?
A: Honestly, bring anything you like! The aim of the game is to capture you both as you truly are - wonderful, loved, and happy! So bring whatever it is that makes you feel that! Often I tend to suggest bringing a couple different changes of clothes, just to allow us the opportunity to mix things up a bit, and I also tend to suggest that partners think of what the other one will be wearing so as best to coordinate a bit - ex. neutral colours with neutral colours, berry tones with berry tones, bright colours with

Q. WHAT IF WE WANT TO SHOOT SOMEWHERE A LITTLE FARTHER, ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?

A. HECK YES. I am! Let’s go! Whether you want to go shoot up at your cottage, or hop on a plane and fly away, I’ve always got my passport, so just name the place and I’ll be there.
(*All I ask is that travel & lodging are accounted for)

Above you’ll find some answers to questions that you may have (or may not have even thought of yet). If anything’s missing and you’re still left with a couple burning questions definitely do feel free to message me and I’d be more than happy to help you get your answers.
